The next question is that of the product. The PS3 can output as HDMI or AV, but not both. That sucks, because it would be easier for HDMI on the TV and AV device connected to the computer. So if you want to catch the HDMI, you need an HDMI capture card and they are still quite expensive. The following method is with a capture card or device basis. I know many people recommend the Dazzle hardware and seems a reasonable price. Another way is to use a registrar of media that (a connection to your PC, this control mode in the recording media, some have a record button on the front panel for easy operation) and then switch to your PC for charging.
